Staffed by a deeply experienced group of food scientists, nutritionists, and culinary artists, our Food Science department specializes in creating custom dressings and sauces for Green Garden–label product lines, food service, and private-label offerings. They keep current with the latest food trends, and work with suppliers to maintain a library of flavors and ingredients to use when developing new products and updating our existing line of products.

The Green Garden Technical Services team supports the production and sales departments, providing strategic direction for new products and new processes. It assures compliance with state and federal regulations and recall procedures, and keeps the company aware of food safety and quality issues.

- Quality Assurance

Responsible for all quality and food safety programs at Green Garden, the Quality Assurance department tests all finished products to assure that they meet quality and product specifications. The QA Laboratory also assures compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices, including proper food handling, sanitation, raw material handling and testing, packaging specifications and testing, pest control, environmental testing, and compliance with all food regulations. We also ensure ongoing quality and safety though a HACCP program with superior AIB ratings and Silliker audit approvals.
